The Zinc REACH Consortium Secretariat facilitates registration for each substance on behalf of the Lead Registrant. The Lead Registrant submits the REACH Registration Dossier, which other registrants reference for their own registrations. The Consortium prepares and periodically updates these dossiers with current scientific data. Updated information is accessible only to Consortium members or co-registrants who have purchased a Letter of Access (LoA).
In 2025, all intermediates (UVCBs) formerly registered as Annex 17/18 of REACH - apart from Flue dust, zinc-refining (EC 273-760-6) are now upgraded to full substances (Annex 10).
