A fee calculation plug-in that enables REACH registrants to calculate, in advance, the fee payable on the successful submission of their REACH dossier to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has been made available.
The plug-in goes through the IUCLID 5 dossier to create a list of fees in accordance with the fee Regulation for REACH. It works for both REACH registration and product and process oriented research and development (PPORD) notification dossiers and is also able to calculate the costs of confidentiality claims.
While the tool provides advance information of the likely costs, the agency says, registrants should wait to receive an invoice before making their payment.
